The traditional conservation brigade of Green Balkans in the area of Pomorie Lake this year was held from 1 to 6 September. This year the brigade is being inspected as part of the project LIFE19 NAT / BG / 000804 Life for the Pomorie Lagoon (https://lifeforpomorielagoon.eu/), in which "Green Balkans" are partners with M-Pomorie Saltpans EOOD, Bulgarian Foundation for Biodiversity and Biological Tour de Valat station, France.
The start of the brigade was on September 1 with the arrival and accommodation of the participants in Pomorie. This year the work is in repair and violence with substrate on a small island before visiting the center "Pomorie Lake", which is partially destroyed by water during the winter. Other activities that can be included with an increased number of participants are: clearing the vegetation of the big island and strengthening wooden platforms in the lake. Providing tools and gloves for work. The work is checked mainly in the hours until noon, and the next ones have a free program. This year, in cool hours, thematic presentations and trainings are presented for everyone. All participants have the opportunity to observe the birds in the lake with binoculars and telescopes, learn more about wildlife in the Pomorie Lagoon, Specialties for its places and mobile protection activities in the Green Balkans for danger and protection of this unique house.
