Students from PPMG "Acad. Nikola Obreshkov ” in Burgas developed a project for a mobile application that encourages and supports the process of separate waste collection.
The ambitious Elia Georgieva, Vanessa Kostadinova, Angela Haralambieva and Katerina Malyanova presented their idea to the Deputy Mayor Vesna Baltina and experts in ecology and environmental protection from the Municipality of Burgas.
Burgas children have titled their project Boklookation and believe that its implementation will help protect the environment and urban spaces. Their concept stipulates that through a special application for mobile phones every citizen can receive information about the nearest and appropriate centers for separate waste collection. By capturing the waste, the application will send the user guidelines on what is the right way to treat it.
